Chola M S General Insurance Company Limited recently partnered with Manipal Global Academy of BFSI to train new talent in the field of insurance. This venture has brought together Chola Insurance Academy and Manipal Global Academy of BFSI, wherein the latter has been entrusted with talent development for Chola M S.
Chola MS in association with Manipal Global Academy of BFSI launched its Post Graduate Diploma in General Insurance Program during this event. The residential program is specially designed for graduates interested in pursuing a career in the field of insurance. As a part of the program, talent sourced by Chola MS will be trained at Academy of BFSI for four months followed by a two-month paid internship. The final term of the program includes a six-month on-the-job training period across various branches of the company in India.
Extensive practical training
This well-structured program will ensure that the participants not only grasp the basics of the insurance industry, but also gain practical skills and knowledge required to excel in the field. The participants will be awarded their diploma by Manipal Academy of Higher Education upon the successful completion of the program.

Mr. Seshadri further explained that his motive to share these numbers was to make the eager participants aware of the company’s aim to grow and excel, which is exactly what Chola M S expects from the participants of the program. Academy of BFSI will help Chola M S in achieving this goal by equipping the participants with the required skills to make a mark for themselves in the industry.
Moving away from the expectations, Mr. Biswajeet Padhi, VP, Chola M S, shared a few pearls of wisdom as he revealed that the five qualities - belief, knowledge, hard work, sincerity, and humility are the essentials to become a successful branch manager.
